The Longhorns eliminate Stanford in a goose chase for home plate.

With two runners in scoring position and no outs in the 7th, Ashton Maloney bunted the ball to the circle. In a 1-2-5 play, baserunner Alyssa Washington was caught at third base and raced home with third base player River Mahler running after her with the ball for the tag. Mahler underhanded the ball to Ava Gall (C) as Washington slid face-first to home plate, just in time. The Longhorns advance to their second WCWS finals in three years with a 1-0 win over Stanford in the semis.

Aces NiJaree Canady and Teagan Kavan each totaled seven strikeouts in tonight's pitching showcase.

A couple of webgems and strikeouts and we're already three innings through. Stanford has tallied 1 hit to Texas' 2 in this Canady vs. Kavan pitcher's duel. Both aces have struck out one and allowed no walks through the opening three innings.

The Cardinal and Longhorns face off tonight in the WCWS semifinals at 7 p.m. ET. In the double elimination format, undefeated, top-seeded Texas needs one win to advance to the finals, while Stanford must force an if-necessary game and win two in a row to stay alive. Here are tonight's starters:

Florida avoided elimination by handing Oklahoma the heftiest offensive effort the Sooners have seen in the postseason in four years. The Gators loaded up four homers, including Kenra Falby's insane inside-the-park HR, tallying nine runs to OU's three to break Oklahoma's 20-game WCWS win streak. The two play tomorrow in a winner-takes-all if-necessary game, with a ticket to the WCWS finals on the line.

Just as a cloud seemed to settle over OU's offensive production, "Sunshine Girl" played and Tiare Jennings stepped up to bat. Swatting a two-run line drive to the right center stands, Jennings cut OU's deficit to four runs. The homer was the 97th in the senior shortstop's career — she ranks third all-time in the DI softball record books.Florida leads 7-3 at the bottom of the fifth.

Reagan Walsh cleared the bases with a three-run no-doubter beyond the left field wall. With their third homer of the day, the Gators now lead the Sooners 7-1 going into the fifth.

Oklahoma got its first score on the board off the bat of Kinzie Hansen, singling up the middle to plate Kasidi Pickering. The score stands at 4-1 going into the bottom of the fourth, with OU calling LHP Kierston Deal from the bullpen.

Skylar Wallace followed up with a solo HR rocket with an exit speed of 77 mph to put the Gators up 3-0 going into the third.

There has been an update in the WCWS schedule due to today's extended delays. If Oklahoma sweeps in Game 11, then the Texas-Stanford game 13 and if necessary games will take place today. IfOklahoma loses, then Texas-Stanford Game 13 will close out the night and any if necessary games will be tomorrow. Here's the official breakdown.

The top seeds — Texas and Oklahoma — face Stanford and Florida respectively for a ticket to the WCWS finals. In the double-elimination format, Texas and Oklahoma each need just one win in the semifinals to advance, whereas Stanford and Florida need consecutive wins to trump the undefeated teams. The final all-Pac-12 softball game ended in close fashion. Stanford ace andUSA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year NiJaree Canady tossed eight Ks while allowing four hits, one run and no walks. The Bruins were kept quiet after hitting a solo homer in the second inning, while the Cardinal built its lead, highlighted by two runs from Emily Jones.

The Cardinal advance to the WCWS semifinals on Monday, facing Texas at 7 p.m. ET.
